Without Josh this time around, there was no controversy about the best method for making sliders. We always have so much fun in the kitchen at RMHC!

We had such an incredible time celebrating Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas’ 40th Anniversary this week at their community-wide party! The food was delicious, the face paint was sparkling, and the giving was generous.

This seems to be a crowd favorite every time we cook it up at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. Had such a fun time serving lunch last week.

There was a difference in opinion on how to make the best sliders. The different approaches were voted on, and it turns out Josh’ method was superior.

New month, new match, new pups! February is all about Ronald McDonald House with Peanut and Augie leading the way. RMHC provides comfort, care, and a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving medical treatment – all at no cost. This year they are celebrating 40 years of service!

We also included a giving component to the calendar this year! FVF Law matched up to $5000 in donations to RMHC in February.

Of course we also made sure to include a vegetarian option! And it took some time but we think we’ve mastered the art of getting the bread perfectly toasted.

We were crankin’ out sandwiches left and right! It’s a blessing to partner with such an amazing organization.

It may have been his birthday, but Dave was determined not to miss helping with our lunch service! We say it all the time, but these days really are the highlight of our week every time we go.

Elizabeth claims to have come into town for the eclipse … but we know it was really because she missed serving at Ronald McDonald House! Either way, we loved getting to see her and serve alongside her.

Who would have known simple egg roll bowls would have been such a hit? We loved hearing that folks all the way up on the 4th floor could smell the delicious dinner our FVF team was cookin’!

The team is out here serving culinary brilliance with a side of laughter and love. Such a fun and simple summer meal! Sandwiches and fruit salad with a little pasta salad on the side. We love our times here. Hearts and bellies are full!

Dinner time! This week we cooked up some delicious pasta, balsamic chicken, and a side salad. As always, such a privilege to volunteer with RMHC.

Can’t we just do this everyday?! We had such a blast last week volunteering at the RMHC. Glazed sandwiches and yummy soup! We love our partnership with them, and it’s always the highlight of our week when we get to visit. Already ready for next time!

Caitlyn, Samantha, Rachel and Schriee made chicken tenders, an abundance of mashed potatoes, gravy, homemade honey mustard, and assorted veggies for dinner in April at the Ronald McDonald House!

Caitlyn, Julie, David and Samantha had so much fun preparing BLTs with extra bacon, grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, and sides for dinner at the Ronald McDonald House.

RMHC is (finally!) welcoming back groups of four to prepare meals, so Team FVF has been back in the kitchen! Kelly, Schriee, Sarah, and Caitlyn had a great time at RMHC making nutritious meals for families with sick kiddos at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Being back in the Ronald McDonald House never felt so good. FVFers Caitlyn, Schriee, Kelly, and Julie used their cooking skills to make chicken salad and green beans for the RMHC families.

FVF was a proud sponsor of the 2020 Virtual Bandana Ball. Features included music from The Spazmatics, a live auction, as well as some special appearances.

To keep the families at the Ronald McDonald House safe during the pandemic, FVF did what we could to help from a distance with surgical masks and gloves. In addition, we donated 1500 n95 masks to Dell Children’s Medical Center to ensure medical professionals had the necessary equipment to serve the RMHC families.

Another amazing time at the Ronald McDonald House making meals for the RMHC families. The team at FVF combined their skills to make grilled cheese, BLTs, and tomato soup. Special shoutout to our very own Caitlyn, Rachel, Schriee, Tiffany, Elizabeth, and Tabetha for bringing out their inner chefs.

Marketing Director, Caitlyn Macaluso, efficiently led the team preparing taco casserole.

Attorney Robert House led the team in preparing the perfect oven-free summer meal of chicken and egg salad.

Case Manager, Ines Capable, led the team and we put together some delicious looking buddha bowls, fruit salad, chicken tenders and chocolate chip cookies.

We broke in our new FVF aprons and prepared a cheese-y pasta bake. The team had a great time putting the meal together and visiting with the families at RMHC.

Our inaugural Ronald McDonald House Charities dinner service volunteer day. COO Margaret Von Flatern project managed the team’s preparation of spaghetti and meatballs. We a great time cooking together and learning more about the work RMHC does for our community.
